‘Lord of the Rings’ Cast Honor Bernard Hill: Nobody Expressed Tolkien’s Words As Well

The ‘Lord of the Rings’ hobbit entertainers gave contacting recognitions for the late Hill: “He would make me extremely upset.”

Bernard Slope’s crew members from The Lord of the Rings gave a few contacting recognitions for the entertainer, who died Sunday at 79 years old.

Elijah Wood, Billy Boyd, Dominic Monaghan and Sean Astin — who played the hobbits in Peter Jackson’s three blockbuster films — regarded him at a Comic Con occasion in Liverpool.

Afterward, Wood posted on X: “We will always remember you,” and afterward added a Tolkien quote: “For he was a gentle heart and a great king and kept his oaths; and he rose out of the shadows to a last fair morning.”

Monaghan shared on Instagram: The Broken king has passed to the grey havens, but he will constantly be remembered.”
