The 2025 Presidents’ Day TV sales event will be here before you know it. The upcoming holiday takes place on February 17, which means big discounts are coming your way from Best Buy, Samsung, and Amazon on a range of 4K, QLED and OLED displays.

TVs are always massively popular during Presidents’ Day sales, thanks to record-low prices on older-model displays from brands such as Samsung, Sony, and LG. You can find huge savings on last year’s best-rated TVs, many of which we’ve reviewed here at TechRadar.

While it’s still too early for official Presidents’ Day TV deals, you can find impressive offers right now, thanks to the upcoming Super Bowl. I’ve listed all the best early offers below, as well as today’s best TV sales from all your favorite online retailers. I’ll update this guide with more of the best Presidents’ Day TV sales as soon as they become available, so make sure to bookmark this guide for all the latest offers.

Today’s best TV sales ahead of Presidents’ Day

Today’s best TV deals ahead of Presidents’ Day

The 48-inch LG B4 OLED TV is a favorite of ours at TechRadar, as it’s one of the best cheap OLED TVs you can buy. It’s good for all-around use, but it excels especially well as a gaming TV with its built-in gaming features and 120Hz refresh rate, so it would be a good buy if you’re hoping from the Super Bowl to Madden. It’s only a 48-inch display, and I have seen this for $100 cheaper before, but today’s offer is a strong one if you need a smaller TV that’s not so harsh on your bank account.View Deal

Samsung’s 48-inch S90D OLED TV is on sale for $1,199.99 – $150 shy of the record-low price we saw during Black Friday. The 2024 OLED display delivers an exceptional picture with deep blacks, bright colors, and Pantone-validated colors. You’re also getting Motion Xcelerator 144Hz for a smooth gaming experience and Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound Lite for premium sound.View Deal

Amazon’s highly rated Omni Series TVs feature 4K resolution support, Dolby Vision, HDR 10, and hands-free TV with Alexa. So, you can control the volume and launch channels hands-free instead of using your remote. Today’s early Presidents’ Day deal brings the 50-inch model down to $309.99.View Deal

Samsung’s The Frame TV is my dream display to buy during Presidents’ Day, and you can find the 55-inch model on sale for a record-low price of $999. The 2024 Samsung Frame TV features Pantone art-validated colors that deliver lifelike images. Plus, the display now comes with Streams, a complimentary set of artwork streamed from the Samsung Art Store. This deal also includes a $50 discount on an ultra-slim wireless Dolby Atmos soundbar.View Deal

Samsung has dropped this 55-inch Q60D QLED TV to $629.99 – the same price we saw on Black Friday. The Q60D features 4K and Quantum HDR Smart technology with Motion Xcelerator, resulting in bright colors and realistic images. Its slim design also means it looks great in any living room. View Deal

The Sony Bravia 8 is back at its lowest price ever ahead of Presidents’ Day at Best Buy. As one of the best TVs for sound, it’s an ideal choice if you want a stellar audio experience without paying extra for a soundbar. Its OLED screen might not be the brightest of them all, but it still manages to rival the picture quality of its competitors using its brightness-boosting Bravia XP Processor. You can even use it with your gaming console of choice thanks to the two HDMI ports (out of four total) that support 4K/120 Hz gaming.View Deal

In terms of value for money, there’s not much that can beat this Toshiba C350 at Best Buy. For close to $300, you get a 4K TV with HDR support that will deliver solid picture quality for your everyday viewing. Access to streaming apps is easy with the Fire TV OS, which has Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime Video, and more at your fingertips. It’s not as powerful as the premium option above, but if you’re on a tight budget and just want a large and good TV, it’s a smart pick.View Deal

The LG C4 OLED TV is one of the best TVs you can buy for its incredible picture quality and excellent performance. This well-sized 65-inch model is down to a great low price – just $100 more than the Black Friday deal. The C4 features exceptional brightness, LG’s latest Alpha 9 AI chip for improved performance, and impressive gaming features, including four HDMI 2.1 ports with 4K 120Hz, VRR, and ALLM support, and 144Hz certification from Nvidia. It’s a versatile all-arounder that I recommend for watching shows, enjoying movies, and playing the latest games.View Deal

This TV deal sold out on Black Friday, but now it’s back in stock and on sale for $498 ahead of Presidents’ Day. The 2024 display features 4K UHD resolution, Dolby Vision HDR and HDR10, and smart capabilities courtesy of a voice-enabled remote, making this an outstanding value if you’re looking for a big-screen budget TV.View Deal

If you’re looking for a truly huge display at an impressive price then look no further than this TCL 85-inch QLED 4K TV that’s on sale for just under $800. We rarely see a display of this size for under $1,000 – especially one that supports a high-end QLED screen for impressive colors and brightness, and Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos for improved picture and audio quality. There’s also a Game Accelerator mode for smooth and responsive gaming performance. All for this for under $1,000? A fantastic deal.View Deal

Presidents’ Day TV sales 2025: Key information

When is Presidents’ Day?

Presidents Day is a federal holiday that always falls on the third Monday in February. This year the holiday falls on Monday, February 17.

The holiday was initially held on George Washington’s birthday (February 22) but was moved in 1971 to accommodate the long holiday weekend.

When do Presidents’ Day TV sales start?

This year, the date of Super Bowl 59 (February 9) is close to President’s Day (February 22), which means deals for both events will coincide. Super Bowl TV deals typically kick off at the beginning of February, and right after that ends, we should see early President’s Day TV sales from retailers like Best Buy and Samsung.

Other retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and Target will typically kick off their official Presidents’ Day sales the week or weekend before Presidents’ Day.

I’ll update this guide with Super Bowl TV deals and early Presidents’ Day TV sales as soon as they’re available.

What Presidents’ Day TV deals can I expect?

Presidents’ Day sales mean clearance prices on older-model products as retailers make room for new 2025 displays from brands like Samsung, LG, and Sony. That means you can find record-low prices on popular 2024 models such as the LG C4 OLED, the Samsung S90D, and the Sony Bravia 8.

You can also find huge discounts on big-screen budget TVs, thanks to Super Bowl sales. You’ll find stunning prices on 65-inch and 75-inch displays from brands like Insignia, TCL, and Amazon’s Fire TV brand.
