Scottie Scheffler starts in Cycle 2 of PGA Championship in the wake of putting out announcement on capture

Scottie Scheffler has started in the second round of the PGA Championship.

Scheffler was captured by Kentucky’s Louisville Metro Police Department on Friday morning subsequent to endeavoring to crash into the entry of Valhalla Golf Club.

Scheffler put out the accompanying announcement:

“Earlier today, I was continuing as coordinated by cops. It was what was going on, justifiably so taking into account the lamentable mishap that had happened before, and there was an unfortunate mix-up of what I assumed I was being approached to do. I never expected to dismiss any of the guidelines. I’m confident to put this aside and spotlight on golf today. Obviously, we all engaged with the competition express our most profound feelings to the family of the one who died in the previous mishap today. It genuinely places everything in context.”

Scheffler was accused of second-degree attack of a cop, third-degree criminal naughtiness, wild driving and ignoring traffic lights from an official coordinating traffic.

Scheffler was delivered on his own recognizance and showed up at Valhalla Golf Club at 9:12 a.m. ET.

“Earlier today we were crushed to discover that a specialist with one of our sellers was unfortunately struck and killed by a bus transport outside Valhalla Golf Club,” the PGA of America said in a proclamation. “This is sad to us all associated with the PGA Championship. We stretch out our true sympathies to their family and the loved ones.

The subsequent round started at 8:35 a.m. ET. Scheffler started at 10:08 a.m. ET. Scheffler started the cycle 4-under, five shots back of pioneer Xander Schauffele.
